Letters scamming homeowners
Various letters are sent out by other sources regarding taxes being owed or attempting to provide a service, such as applying for a homeowner's exemption that are considered scams.
Please make sure to always check for a government logo on the letter, and that the letterhead on the document has the name and mailing address of a valid government office.
